Two Finger Chute Ideal for loading and unloading products that are on pallets.
The Two Finger design helps to prevent damage that would take place down the center of the trailer by forklifts.
Installation Instructions
- Install header first to adapter and front wall of trailer.
Locate the round grommets at the corners of the header section. Pull these grommets up to the ceiling then out towards the side wall until the header section is tight. Fasten these grommets to the front wall, up next to the ceiling using drive rivets or self-drilling screws. The header should now be tight angling up and out from the adapter.
- Install center grommet on header next along center line of the trailer. Install remaining grommets on header allowing a 3” droop where chute “finger” bodies will attach.
- Install chute “fingers”
Lay each chute “finger” out on the trailer floor. Attach Velcro on one finger to the Velcro on the chute header. Install grommets on the “finger allowing a 3” droop across the length of the “finger”. Install second “finger” same as first.
When you attach the chute “fingers” down the length of the trailer in the next step do not pull the tarp completely tight. You should allow a 2” difference in the space between the grommets and the space between where you attach the grommets in the ceiling to allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature changes.
